Pizza Hut - North Tyneside

I recently visited Pizza Hut for the first time in years and was pleased to find that it was just as nice as I remembered. The pizza was tasty and the side dishes were also good. They had a great offer that included pizza, side, and a drink, as well as a salad bar. The staff were friendly. I will definitely visit again for a break from shopping at Silverlink.

The restaurant's management is disorganized, leading to a lot of miscommunication. It seems like they just tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone. I placed an order online but never received a confirmation. When I called the restaurant, they informed me that the order did not go through. They said I would receive a refund within a few working days and to contact them if not received. After multiple calls, I was given different information by different managers regarding the timeframe for the refund. When I tried to contact them again for help, the manager I spoke to that day was unsure of what to do and said he would have to consult with another manager later. Unfortunately, he never called back as promised.

This restaurant used to be a fantastic place to dine, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. The establishment is now run by teenagers with bad attitudes or little understanding of what they are doing. The service is extremely slow, there are items missing from the pizza, the environment is dirty, and overall the service is just very poor.

First visit post lockdown. This was one of the few places offering sit down service. It was not busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated straight away. As expected and similar to most post lockdown order systems, customers can order online from their table,...no need to download yet another app! Thank God! The service was quick and staff were very friendly. However, the menu has changed drastically and definitely not worth it. The free salad bar has always been the best thing about this place. Post lock down and due to restrictions, that is no longer an option, instead, customers are offered a free salad with their order. The free salad' was definitely not worth it. It came in a small bowl and did indeed look free'. It was not appetising at all and we left it untouched. Despite the removal of the salad bar, the prices have not changed much which is a shame so it does feel like the customer is being short-changed. The prices did seem a bit inflated. We paid for sharing pizza, two drinks and the bowl of salad was free'. The pizza did taste good though. Personally, I would wait until they bring back the salad bar before returning.

First time going to Pizza Hut in years, food was lovely, staff were very friendly and service was fast.
