Waves Coffee - North Vancouver

I like Wave's cause it's open late. It's a great place to go if you want to wind down the day with a tea or a decaf coffee. Their coffees are pretty good, and pastries are alright.

This place has a super friendly atmosphere and really nice (and hilarious) staff. They just got affogato and it's so fricken delicious. Seriously, you get to the bottom of your cup and it's just ice cream and delicious. They also are the only place I know of that does rooibos espresso which is neat, and way better than I expected when I first went in. Shaken iced teas on a hot day bomb.

This location seems to be quite empty, though in the summer time, you can see a few indoors and the rest sitting out on their patio. This summer, I have fallen in love with their Rooibos Frappe $3.95 with whip cream!!! Yay! No caffeine! Not overly sweet either. Just love it! The staff are pretty friendly here and the place is pretty clean. Close to the Lonsdale Quay, great to relax and chitchat with friends after some shopping or nice walk around the charming neighbourhood.

Good location on Lower Lonsdale. It's good for people watching and there's lots of seating inside and out. The food and beverages aren't as good as elsewhere, but I like coming here to get work done, since I know there will always be a free table.

Usually come here to study but I'm finding it over priced and the staff are so rude. Had a couple of workers speak Spanish for about five minutes before acknowledging I was there ready to order. The lobby is usually a mess and the bathroom is disgusting! However the drinks taste good and there is free wifi and it's open late.
