We could only assume they were old and heated up in a microwave to a pulp to hide it. The drinks were very watery and bland too.. We try to buy from independent businesses but wish we had gone to Costa across the road.. AVOID!
We went to the Green Room for Sunday lunch and found they were fully booked but the lady serving said she would squeeze us in on a table normally used to display leaflets. Fortunately, she didn’t need to do this as a couple on a table invited us to sit with them. Both of us really enjoyed our meals, they were very tasty, the portions were plentiful, and they were served up really hot. I’m really glad we decided to go there and I’ll certainly be visiting again. I’ve no hesitation in recommending the Green Room to other people but because it’s very popular, I would advise ringing to book a table rather than just turn up like we did.
Great food on hot plates always something interesting great coffee well worth a visit if you can get in
This is a very nice Cafe with lots of charm. Bright with lots of light and nice ambiance. Good food, good coffee/ Kitale (top rated on TA) was cold, loud and lacking character. I'd take The Green Room any day.
We visited this little cafe 3 times whilst on holiday. Very friendly, food basic but that is what we wanted and very tasty..Staff Brilliant
