Triple A Award Winning Fish Chips

I am not sure what has happened, but this restaurant has changed and not for the better. I have visited a couple of times recently and the quality is terrible. The staff did not offer me salt and vinegar, the fish batter was not good, and the curry sauce was too thin and spilled out onto the paper. The kebab did not have any chicken options and the chili sauce was watery, just like the curry sauce. The portions have also decreased significantly. Overall, I was disappointed with my recent experiences at this restaurant.

The food is amazing and the service is always top-notch every time we visit. We wouldn't go anywhere else! Keep up the stellar service, Ranj!

We have been frequenting this takeout fish and chip shop for over a year now. The fish is always cooked fresh to order. Alex and Jackie take the time to listen to their customers' preferences, ensuring that the food is cooked and served exactly how you like it. We usually opt for lightly cooked fish with just a few chips, and our order is always ready without having to ask, as Alex and Jackie are familiar with their regular customers. The welcoming atmosphere and quick service make it a no-brainer to visit this chippie. If you enjoy a friendly greeting, a good laugh, and a delicious meal of fish, chips, and peas, then this is the place for you. Even as picky eaters, we can confidently say that the food here is top-notch!

Tonight was the first time we've had a bad meal from this place. Usually it's fantastic as I've reviewed before stating, but tonight I don't know whats happened. We were served some VERY questionable food, the lettuce on the kebab looked like it was prepared on wednesday and still being used on Sunday, the kebab was dry, burnt and just not the usual standard, and the chips were under cooked. We've never had this food served when the two younger girls are working, maybe its a newer staff member tonight?

This used to be a great little chippy but now fails to have much available and closes too early. Sad
