After the parade, we stopped by The Plough to purchase a coffee to warm up and the owner generously gave us free coffee and snacks. The cozy atmosphere and welcoming hospitality made our experience even better. Thank you.
I went to Ashby de la Zouch for a night out and parked my car with Just Park, which was brilliant. I stayed at The Queens Head in Ashby, which was clean but not worth the money. After exploring the castle, I recommend checking out The Plough. We explored the town, walked down a side street, and found The Plough. We were made very welcome and decided to go back later. We had lunch in town, went on a pub crawl, booked in at The Dogs, had dinner at a Thai restaurant opposite, and then went back to The Plough for a superb evening. There was a band playing and complimentary chips, as well as a good selection of beers, ciders, and lagers. It was a brilliant night with brilliant people, highly recommended if you want something different.
Even though we don't frequent Ashby often, The Plough is definitely a favorite spot for us. The staff is friendly, the decor is lovely, there is fabulous entertainment, and they have a good selection of drinks available. I had a fantastic birthday celebration here last year!
Popped in for a couple on a Friday night early doors, lovely drink, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
We ended up down here for work and had some food and drinks, friendly traditional place, service and staff were good, food was ok
