Not from here. at some point rude staff and disgusting attitude. on the 7th april 2021 I ordered a meal, which total £25.70 at the order I wanted to make sure that my special roasted rice was spicy, so I called the restaurant 7 minutes after the order. the rude lady answered and said that the “driver was already on the way” this was obviously a lie, as there is no wise how they have made 1x special roasted rice 1x salt and pfeffer wing 1x crispy chili meat 1x seaweed and 1 part of the spring rolls in the space of 7 minutes. the dame said: “You have to apologize to the driver,” as he had to turn back because they did not leave any notice. I recommend getting the large portion at this Chinese restaurant, as it will provide enough food for two meals. This has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for years. However, I've noticed that the servings of meat have become smaller while they give you plenty of rice, noodles, or chips. The prices have also increased, but if you order the large portion and request extra curry sauce, it will be a better value overall.

Bought the 3 item box for £7 ish was a load of rubbish had Sweet and sour chicken got 2 piece of chicken huge pile of onions Salt and pepper chicken no taste and approx 6 very small pieces Chicken fillet got one piece what happened to the nice portions???? price has gone up Massively and portions so small My sons were also so disappointed with there dish I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WONT RETURN EVER We use to look forward to visiting Meadowhall for this restaurant no more

Visited this restaurant with my family while in town. They offer 3 choices for 5 pounds. I opted for rice, beef in black bean sauce, and salt and pepper chicken. I enjoyed all the dishes. The service was fast and it was great value for money.

I visited Yangtze on 31/7/20 and ordered a large meal box. The cost of this was £7.50. The large box allows you to select 5 items off a huge list. You can see all the food upfront of you so if you'd rather just ask and point that is fine and sometimes the best way if you think something looks particularly nice. I opted for vegetable noodles, egg fried rice, caramel chicken, salt and pepper chicken, beef in black bean sauce and sweet and sour sauce. The food was perfectly fresh and it was a very good size portion, perfect for the larger appetite. The noodles tasted very nice, the beef in black bean sauce was lovely but if this review was based on the salt and pepper chicken alone it would of been a 5 star review... absolutely beautiful. The caramel chicken was cooked perfectly however I hated the taste of it. I won't knock these down for this as that's my personal taste and I don't usually order this item I was just intrigued. The egg fried rice was slightly over cooked and congield however don't let this put you off, very, very nice food.
