Great humor, solid recommendations, and accommodating great interactions with us.The food was fantastic! I say my husband's wings are the best, but the chefs at Copper Barrel beat his! Even my husband admitted defeat. The corn nuggets were yummy, like a gold at the end of a rainbow. The prices were definitely reasonalbe.I suggest locals make this a regular dining spot, and visitors stop in for an appetizer, meal, and/or dessert.
Decent (but small) cocktails and glass of wine at a fair price. We had two different brisket sandwiches. The amount of meat given is small.Brisket sandwich (hamburger bun) is $10. 5 pieces of Brisket- each 2 ×1 ×1/4 thick. Same amount on the cheese melt. The meat was good tasting and tender.Brisket cheese melt sandwich is $12.
If you go through Wilkesboro and don't stop to visit Buck and George at Copper Barrel Distillery, you have done yourself a great injustice.
Very nice place to visit. The tour was great. Wish I could get your moonshine in Texas.
You have to stop here and eat. The food is delicious, the staff is top notch and the ambience is very good. Seriously try it out, you won't regret it. Our waitress Aaliyah was incredible. We took her recommendation on what to order and was not disappointed. Their brisket was out of this world. If you go ask for Aaliyah, you won't regret it. One last comment, the prices are very reasonable.
