Edill’s Coffee House

I really like the newly renovated space!It's a much bigger space with lots of tables and very comfy seating. The space is now divided in half, with laptop seating on the left and non laptop seating on the right. I've read several recent comments here, complaining about the lack of laptop seating space, but the larger space actually allows for more overall laptop seating. There's even plenty of space to add more tables and seating. It's also important to remember that this is ultimately a retail space that needs to make money. It's not meant to act solely as a library or study area.The food and drink options are somewhat limited, but the dishes and drinks that they do serve are done very well and are reasonably priced. The Creamy Tocado cream cheese bagel with avocado and tomato is delicious! The banana chocolate loaf was tasty and moist. The lattes were creamy and soothing. It's also nice to finally see proper ceramic mugs available for dining in, instead of just disposable paper cups...it really makes a HUGE difference. It would be nice to see metal cutlery available in the future as well. The service was exemplary as well.My only knock here is the dead silent atmosphere. There is no ambient music or background noise...just the echos of chatter/whispers and the background work noise. Some soft, quiet music of any type would really add to the atmosphere.Overall, there is a TON of potential here with the newly renovated space. There are very few decent cafes in the Scarborough area and I'm hopeful that this becomes the best. With just a few more food and fresh bakery options and some ambience, this could be my new favourite relaxing morning spot.Parking: Lots of free parking down the side and back of the building.

Edill’s cafe has a beautiful interior design that gives modern and cute vibes. Customer service is absolutely amazing, everyone is so kind and welcoming. Definitely a pretty place to study at with tasty drinks. 100% recommend, 10/10!!

Customer service is a 10/10. Edill herself personally took it upon herself to help us and made sure I tried my drink and actually liked it and if I wanted something extra she gave it to me even though the line was extremely long and the place was extremely busy. She was kind and made sure we liked what we got. The employees were so kind and went above and beyond for my sandwich. What a great experience! You guys go check the place out!!!

Delicious coffee and pastries! The baristas are all really nice and helpful too.The cafe is really beautiful and spacious. There are many seats and outlets. The bathrooms are also really clean. There’s nothing more you could want from a cafe. 10/10
