Marquis Lounge Bistro is a chic restaurant and bar, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed at the Hilton during the Apple Expo conference we were attending, and enjoyed breakfast each morning at Marquis. When we booked our room, there was an option to add-on breakfast , so we did: $14 extra, per day, per person (regularly $16.95 . Their breakfast set up is buffet-style with fresh fruit, a wide selection of baked goods, juices, yoghurt, oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, etc. Coffee and tea are served at your table, and they even provide a coffee/tea station set up so you can prepare your own beverages to-go after you have finished breakfast. What a nice option! Hot food items like eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes, French toast, etc. are ordered at the counter, you're given a number to place on your table and wait for your food to be served promptly. This is also a great service! Made-to
I was staying at the Hotel in January and the -30c wind chill was too much to brave going out to dinner anywhere else so me an colleague entered the empty bar and restaurant and were greeted by a very friendly guy behind the bar. The atmosphere could have been dire had it not been for this guy as I don't think many people actually eat in here and the menu is somewhat limited, which means they do a few things well. I order the French onion soup and the fish and chips and both were perfect but be warned the portions are huge which justifies the higher price, so bare in mind 2 could share most meals.
