King George's Arms - North York

We decided to check out this neighborhood bar on a Saturday night and were greeted by the bartender upon entry. She informed us that the only available seating was towards the front, although there were plenty of open seats at the bar, where we usually like to sit. We chose to sit at a table as directed and ordered drinks from the bar. The server seemed unsure about the wine selection but returned with a written list. We then ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a grilled cheese. The food arrived quickly, but the taste was mediocre at best. The grilled cheese reminded me of the ones served in elementary school cafeterias, giving me a nostalgic feeling but not meeting my expectations for a restaurant meal. I would recommend this place for drinks and snacks while watching a game.

Don’t get me wrong great place, wonderful beer, atmosphere and service, but food was an obvious weak point: canned soup, probably also canned sheppard’s pie. Not sure if they have kitchen, that might be the thing.. anyways, serves its purpose, it’s a pub, and a nice one!

While the atmosphere and service at this restaurant were great, the food was definitely lacking. The canned soup and potentially canned shepherd's pie were not very impressive. It's unclear if they even have a kitchen. Nonetheless, it's a nice pub that serves its purpose well.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I tried the wings and some poppers. I have no complaints - I enjoyed everything! The service was excellent, our waitress Terry was friendly, and overall it was a great experience for my first visit.

Quaint, small and cozy IE pub in sullivan. laid back atmosphere, kind service, usual pub fare, tap beer, very clean wc, low-key music, non-invasive screens, no patio. high Q/P
