Sushi Legend - North York

The food at this restaurant is incredible. The fish is fresher than most all-you-can-eat places, with a wonderful variety of dishes. The service is fast and efficient, and I enjoyed every dish I ordered. I cannot wait to go back again.

The restaurant is very spacious, about twice the size of the Leslie location, and they use iPads for ordering instead of paper menus. The food at this location tastes much better in comparison. I had originally planned to give a 4 out of 5 rating, as my order of 6 pieces of Salmon roses was never delivered. However, upon leaving, I accidentally bumped into a waitress and caused her to drop a plate of food. She was extremely nice about it and told me it was no problem at all. Because of her kindness, I have decided to give them an additional 0.5 points.

Food: When it comes to all-you-can-eat restaurants, it's usually more about quantity than quality. At Sushi Legend, I found that their teriyaki dishes were good, sushi was mediocre, and the dessert was great. I recommend ordering a lot from the first menu sheet, as the quality tends to be better. Our second round of food wasn't as fresh, especially the sashimi. However, the dessert, especially the creme brulee, was delicious. Overall, I think the quality at Sushi Legend is comparable to their other location, if not better. My parents prefer this place over another restaurant we've tried before.

This newly opened location is noticeably bigger and brighter than the original. I had high hopes that it would offer the same quality food and service as the original, but was somewhat disappointed. As we sat down at our table, we started to realize that there is a disturbing issue, as we saw a fly circling above tables.Sushi, fortunately, kept its standard fresh and tasty. But the desserts were very sloppy, and their Tiramisu was made differently from the North York location.<br/ Service isn't high quality, but acceptable. Was seated in about 0.5 1.0 hour. Reservation recommended.<br/ <br/ I do plan to revisit this location maybe after a few months as this place settles and improves.

We had a bad experience with this restaurant today. We were told by a lady server that we've already ordered a lot and we can't order after having eaten for 2 hours for 5 minutes, as we're past the 2 hours limit on their half empty restaurant. Don't come back because we felt bad with our friends after we recommended this place. They traveled from Oshawa and down to this restaurant. We fed here, but this rude and bad service experience was the worst thing we heard or got from this place. If I have to choose for AYCE Sushi again, this place will remain in my choice. so be careful if you decide to try this place or if someone recommends this place to you, you can be booted out and tell you that you have a lot on their all you can meat menu that you oaying.
