Imperial Raj - Northampton

Ate in the restaurant had a wonderful meal. Staff were welcoming friendly the meal was delicious. I had a Dhansak and the flavours were well balanced, with the perfect heat. Really enjoyed the music too!

The food was very disappointing, the delivery was late, the food was cold and greasy. I won't be ordering from here again. It's a shame because I was looking forward to a good curry.

Gave these another chance after a bad experience before. Wish we hadn't. Terribly slow. We were told to pick up in 45 minutes but we waited inside the restaurant for another 45 minutes. No apology. Checked order when we got to the car and it had things missing so we had to go back. Clueless. Often wondered why it's not busy anymore. Now we know.

Went with friends for a catch up and we all fancied an indian, we never got it ! we arrived at 7 and walked out at 9, the restaurant was not busy and we have no idea why it took so long, by 9 we where all past it and decided to leave, a great shame we where looking foreward to it. won’t be going back in a hurry, ruined our night out.

The food was very good. What let it down was the sneaky extra pricing at the end. They only offer lemonade in the little glass bottles, fine Until the end when you realise they charge £2.95 each. Also the Poppadoms, which were on the menu and reasonably priced so we thought. They had the nerve to charge us for all the dips which we didn't actually ask for. We were with 5 kids who didn't even use the dips. They charged £1.25 per dip (6 dips came with 10 poppadoms). The main meals were a good price but I shan't be going back after those hidden extra prices.
