The Kings Head - Northampton

Went to dinner last night (saturday) and had mentioned at the time of booking that I would like a vegan meal. I had appetizer, main course and dessert all 3 were amazing and inventive.instead of the normal not meat choice they get elsewhere. the bar/dining corner was casual, but very modern, clean and welcoming. the personal was attentive, but not overlaid. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend others to go aswell

Cannot fault Natalie or Danny in their food, setting, or atmosphere. Both times I've eaten here I've played a game of imagining how the food will be presented and for each meal I'm always pleasantly surprised that, aesthetically, it exceeds what I anticipated. Excellent choice of food that doesn't overcomplicate needlessly, easily in my top three places to eat in the county.

We had a special afternoon tea made for a family get together the sandwiches were so very fresh and really lovely then came the cakes wow wow wow fresh scones with lots of cream and Jam little chocolate brownies tiny lemon tarts and lots of tea and coffee. The staff were just wonderful. So a big thank you to you all

Just a coffee today (Which was excellent) but this place is SO much more.! Great food, reasonable price and a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee or a full on blow out, this is one if the best places to enjoy a break.

Had a fabulous meal on Christmas Eve, we had three courses off the Christmas menu. I cannot complain about anything especially the beef rib, it was so tender it fell off the bone. Staff were friendly and excellent as was the wine. Will definitely be coming back again.
