We arrived at the restaurant and found a decent size space with booths along the wall. Unfortunately, the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable, with a flat back and hard bottom. It could benefit from some cushions or padding to make it more comfortable. The menu offered a reasonably extensive variety of tastes. However, there was a need for staff training as the service was very slow. Our meals took 40 minutes to arrive, and the lamb cutlets were cooked well below the medium doneness we had asked for. The steak, on the other hand, was cooked perfectly. The cocktail menu was nice, but some drinks were overpriced considering the size and amount. It took nearly 40 minutes for our drinks to be delivered after asking for them twice. Our plates were never cleared after we finished our meal. Despite these issues, we would be happy to visit again.
I went there yesterday and ordered the Brazilian feijoada. To my surprise, it was very good, just a bit too spicy for my taste, but the flavor was amazing! Definitely recommend trying it!
We decided to try this restaurant for a change, as we are fans of Mexican cuisine. The food was delicious, although it didn't become our top choice. The service was satisfactory, but we were seated in a booth that provided privacy; however, it also made it difficult for the waitress to see us when we needed assistance. Overall, it was a nice option for a different dining experience.
A friend recalled a great Japanese on Francis Street and we arrived to find it was now Latin American! Undeterred and intrigued, we managed to get a table for four in quite a private booth. The cocktail and food menus had many tempting offerings and we indulged in both, choosing the tapas for food mostly. The food was very tasty and the service efficient. Will definitely return.
