Sushi Joy Japanese Take Away Restaurant

For such a small place this restaurant is almost always full for lunch especially on the weekend. It's a bit of an institution for the locals being open for a very long time. The food is absolutely fresh and well cooked. The service is good and the prices are extremely good value. They only accept cash.

Great place to go for a quick authentic Japanese meal. The food is good, plentiful and reasonably cheap with Bento boxes starting from around $12. The gyoza are great too. If you are in Northbridge and can get a table then give this a go.

I recently rediscovered this place after an absence of 15 years. This place is a cut above your average shopping centre sushi. It has a broad menu- sushi, sashimi, tempura, udon and bento boxes that are a bargain. Food is cooked to order, service is friendly and it's Japanese food that tastes just like it does at a little neighbourhood restaurant in Japan. It's not a huge place and not a place to linger, but it's great fresh food and that's the main thing !

We do always come here for lunch, even though it's small and I can't fit my pram in, I just do takeaway sometimes, and it's always well presented and the food tastes as always delicious! Everything is made to order and so fresh!

Went there around 530pm after a specialist appointmentWhat a gem, food great we just had a snack of tempura which filled the gap. Parents with school children grabbing a bite after school which was nice. Service was good and we took a bottle of wine purchased across the plaza at BWS. So cheap would certainly return if we are ever in the area.
