Bamboo Vietnamese Restaurant

The portion sizes are huge and the food is delicious. The service is very friendly.

I enjoyed visiting this restaurant with my two children. I want to thank the staff for their exceptional service, patience, and delicious food. A special thank you to the gentleman, who I presume is the owner, for being so kind to my kids and me, and for taking a family photo for us.

We love bamboo. It's great for a cheeky cheap meal. Service is great, it's nice to be recognised. We get take out quite often but love popping in and having chicken satay starter or rice paper rolls then something with lots of veg. Main dishes can be inconsistent, especially the Chinese styled ones. But Vietnamese dishes are always on point. We love the price tag for the high street too. Fancy a cheeky Bamboo?

I was thoroughly impressed by the delicious and fresh Tom Yum soup at this restaurant. It was a pleasure to see two elderly ladies at the table next to me expertly hand-rolling spring rolls that looked just as fresh. I can't wait to return!

The restaurant has an interesting style of background music, 1970s US country. With respect to food I was excited to see vegetarian options listed as a feature with the menu, but decided to try the sweet and sour fish. It was so bland it was almost tasteless and had too much red colouring. There seemed to be no sweet or sour and it was very watery.
