Feedback geven4 of us went for dinner. Saltimbocca was dry, prosciutto was unrecognizable. Scalloping was also overcooked. The only dish was that was eatable was clams and pasta. Spinach was hardy cooked. All in all, terrible experience. Cook must have come from McDonald’s.
Wanted to like more than we did. The Arancini was delicious but was too cold. The Salimbuca was, again, not hot enough. It was extremely salty. Also, it came with a very large side of potato wedges, oddly. The ravioli was not what it should have been. Just 6 plain, cheese stuffed ravioli. There was a couple of underripe pear slices on the size of the plate. It was served with a cream sage sauce. Other than that, it was lacking the balance of the sweetness of the pears. What a disappointment. Not only was it not hot enough, the extra sauce that I needed also came out cold.
Went last night for dinner. You know that feeling you get when the waitress first approaches the table and you say, oh no. Not warm or inviting at all. She was there only for a paycheck. We asked twice for a second basket of bread, which never came. My wife ordered pasta with crab meat, if there was any crab meat it was so little, we couldn't find it. We mentioned it to the waitress, nothing!!! Manager came over, said let me see what I can do, never saw her again. My dish was good but not anything special. Just a uneventful dinner that could have been avoided. GO TO THE RED ROOM IN VENTNOR.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our dinner at Valentina's on setember 30th. The service was excellent! Food tasted freshly made. We got the margarita pizza as an app, Insalata con gorgonzola e pere, and the Gnocchi alla sorrentina. We are definitely going there again!
This place never disappoints. So yummy and the very nice people!
