XS Espresso - NORTHMEAD

This is literally a hole in the wall just near the corner of Church and Phillip Sts (but on Phillip, opposite Mad Mex).

The coffee here is amazing!! And the Nutella muffins are a must. A little pricey for the daily consumer, but well worth it.

✔️ came here with my friend, our brunch enjoyed XS thoroughly! She ordered eggs on toast with bacon she loved. The fried eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was crispy. I ordered the maple stack of pancakes. Absolutely beautiful presented food. These were the fluffy, melting end in the mouthpan cake, unlike any pancakes I've ever had in a cafe. The pancakes came with a beautiful vanilla ice cream, bananas, strawberries maple syrup and a perfect addition of crumble, which tasted like golden gaytime! And an additional glass of maple syrup, which is perfect for the sugar heads like me ???? Very high quality food. Nothing about faulty food. Grief ❌ My friend got her food within 5 minutes after the order, which was amazing, but my came to her 15 minutes after her, so she had finished her meal than I started.

So much yum! Came here for dinner. Ambience: great music, nice people Service: good - its mostly self service but we didn't mind. Food: so much value, so much flavour! Got the american fries & two pizzas, both were loaded with flavour & exactly as described on the menu. The pizza dough is soft, the cheese is great - special mention to the BBQ sauce they use haha. We were way too full for dessert unfortunately. Conclusion: 10/10 would come again
