Billy's Sports Grill - Northport

We happen to go here on iron bowl weekend and it was packed. It took a few minutes for the server to get to us. But once she did food came out quickly and everything we had was good. We will go back and eat here again.

Billy's Sports Grill is situated in the heart of downtown historic Northport, right across from Gracefully Done Interiors on the corner of Main Avenue. The restaurant serves delicious food and features daily specials. You can also enjoy outdoor dining on pleasant fall days. The staff is always friendly, and the service is excellent. When I showed up, the front doors were wide open, and since it's on the corner of a busy intersection, it was pretty loud inside. Wasn't greeted, instead was eventually just told to pick somewhere to sit. Food was alright, ordered fish tacos and instead of filling the entire 3 taco holder with tacos, the middle slot was used for cold tortilla chips. Why I was given sour cream with fish tacos and chips is beyond me. Pretty pricey for 2 tacos and a sweet tea while having

I had a great dinner, especially on game day! If you can't watch the game at home, this is definitely a great spot to be. Otherwise, you can savor some delicious food, choose from a wide selection of beers, and experience impeccable service.

Great food and nice atmosphere as well. Food was relatively expensive, but consider the location and inflation and it makes sense. You pick your own seating. I had no complaints with the quality of the food. I do recommend this place if you're looking for a nice chill place to go to hang out with a friend and have lunch and possibly watch a game or something. Check it out at least once.
