A small restaurant with about 6 tables and a long bar with soft jazz music in the background, which for a quiet evening. Great staff that makes you feel like a family. Amazing daily food specialties. Steaks and seafood are the specialties. Lobster Bisque was amazing. Napoleon/Cannoli for Dessert was also great. We're definitely going back.
I've been singing at Emanuel several times. We were not disappointed.... What a great date night atmosphere for great service and mouth irrigation kitchen. The crab cake is definitely one of my absolute favorites and the steak for two is great. I also had a seasonal pleasure of pumpkin soup. I can't expect me to have this joyful joy again! Tell them Monica sent you...
I read about this restaurant in Newsday and decided to check it out with my husband for our wedding anniversary. The waitress we had I wish I remembered her name was probably one of the best servers I have ever had. She was very busy but not once did she not forget to always come by to our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. She always seemed to know when we needed another drink. Some places seem to forget about you but not this young lady. We started off with an amazing lobster bisque with baked clams and for our entree we had a porter house for two with a steak sauce that is to die for made by the chef himself. To top it off our waitress didn’t charge us for a special anniversary dessert which you never get anything for free anymore and it’s nice to see they care. It’s a small restaurant therefor I would recommend reservations. The intimate setting was perfect for our anniversary. Can’t wait to come back with family and friends. Highly recommend
Wow! Food was exceptional! Savored every bite! Wagu Beef sliders were excellent...baked clams perfection. PorterHouse steak for two sublime! Every bite leaves you wanting for more! Planning our next visit ASAP! Lovely atmosphere sophisticated yet friendly. Soft jazz plays quietly in the background! Great date night or night out groups or couples. Lovely bar for solo’s and friends with draft beer on tap. Fine selection of wines and by the glass. A little something for all!
Very impressed by this jewel of the restaurant. Small interior 6 tables and a long bar attractively furnished. Muted Lighting and Soft 'light Jazz' Music served as background music. Service was friendly and efficient. The attention to detail in the food presentation was the sign of the creative cook to see pictures. Crab Cake had generous portions of actual lump scrap, and not the broken crab found elsewhere. Buffalo Mozzarella with tomatoes has tomatoes at the peak of their season. Although Steak is the main attraction here, we chose the fish and pasta entrees. Halibut on a bed of wheat berry and haricot Verts was beautifully done. The Juwelelli in the Edelsteinelli Primavera was fresh pasta with an assortment of chopped vegetables, including the hard to find Romanesco Broccoli. We finished the meal by using an espresso infused chocolate mousse. Excellent. The tab for all this, including a bottle of wine, was about $150. Maybe seem expensive, but the quality of food made it right below cheap...
