Feedback gevenOn Monday, June 26, 2023, we had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. The seating was comfortable, which added to our enjoyment. The servers and staff were friendly and attentive, making our visit even better. We celebrated our half-birthday alongside my parents' anniversary, and it was a memorable occasion.
We used to visit this restaurant regularly, but we often left feeling disappointed with the food and service. After several years, we decided to return for our wedding anniversary, not expecting much from the place. To our surprise, everything was wonderful! The server was delightful, the food was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We’re so glad we chose to come back; this has now become our favorite spot for steak. Kudos to Black Angus for such an impressive improvement!
When we inquired about the setup, the host said she would take care of it when she could. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all—only about 4-5 tables were occupied—so I was frustrated that she didn’t even bother to check our reservation details or acknowledge the additional charge. On the positive side, our server was fantastic. Although she was clearly busy being the only server on the floor, she ensured we were taken care of. After waiting another 30 minutes without any sign of the host, we decided to forgo the package. We tried to make the best of our experience, but as first-timers, we were disappointed that we couldn’t take any pictures or have a little keepsake from our anniversary dinner. To add to our frustration, as we were leaving, there were about five people gathered at the host stand, and none of them acknowledged us when we said thank you. Overall, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We'll definitely reconsider visiting this location in the future for any celebrations. The food was good, but the poor service really overshadowed everything from the beginning.
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice early Valentines dinner. Last year we went to the San diego location and everything was perfect. We were hoping to recreate that experience but it didn't really go as planned. First off we made a reservation online. We do not live locally so we gave ourselves an hour to arrive. We checked in about 10 mins early. As we waited, guests were coming in without reservations and seated before us. We thought maybe because we requested a booth but realized these multiple parties were being seated in booths. Confused and upset we considered leaving. It made no sense that you would take care of people without reservations before someone with a reservation. Once we we got to our table which was not a booth , our waitress seemed flustered and all over the place. I waited 15 minutes for a drink refill and honestly she was nowhere to be found. The waiter taking care of the table behind us mentioned specials they were having and an app they offer with discounts. Our waitress never spoke of any of that. We downloaded the app and just listened in to everything that waiter was telling his tables. The food came out great except our fried zucchini. The zucchini pieces were sitting in a lot of grease on the plate. I would suggest downloading the app. We saved about $15 off our bill.
Everything here is sooo good.our server, she’s really nice. The food, awesome. It’s worth every minute of the wait. They make sure they serve the best preparation.
