It was ok. All of the seating both chairs, and booths are awkward and uncomfortable, so strange! Service was fine but not great. I had brisket tacos, it came on a small plank.. so basically I got stuff all over the table and there was no where to put anything. The tacos were not very good, it was all a weird shredded cabbage slaw that didn't have any kind of dressing on it, and maybe 1 oz of brisket. The rest of my party enjoyed their entrees (burrito and quesadilla). The meal was $60. Bottom line is it was mediocre and for a $60 meal we should have gone to Yardhouse or Wood Ranch for lunch.
We had dinner with friends and all 4 of our kids (ages 8-14) and it was a great time! It's attached to the Northridge Mall so the kids went to the Apple Store after and we sat and talked.
We made the Open Table Reservation and when we got to the restaurant, they were closed!!!! How rude.
Unfortunately, it was a terrible night to remember. I had made this reservation on 11/30/16 for 2 people 6pm on 12/03/16. My wife and I were going to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. Upon arriving at the Chevy's 5.55pm, we noticed that the restaurant was closed, due to maintenance concerns. Management staff, did nothing to notify there patrons of this closure. I would've thought, a simple courtesy call, to inform a customer of there's, that the restaurant was closed. Apparently, customer service is not of this restaurant's concern.
