Gills Fish Chips Takeaway

Absolutely disgusting!!! Just had an order for family both pizzas burnt to bits I mean black crispy burnt. How they thought it was acceptable blows my mind. This is my 4th order since new opening and been very disappointed every single time. Definitely will not be back to give them my money.

Terrible chips, should be allowed to serve to people like that. They were burnt over fried and tasteless disgusting!! Def won’t be visiting again.

The worst fish and chips ever. Fake 'cod ' encased in cardboard batter and anaemic tasteless chips. Absolutely ghastly.

Service was acceptable, order taken and given an order receipt. To then be asked by another member of staff if I was waiting for anything. Well of course I was, the food I'd just ordered Portion size is absolutely appalling!!!! I ordered large chips with battered sausage. Sausage was normal size, but the chips. I'm unsure how to put in to words the portion size. If what I got was a large, which is what I ordered, I really dread to think what a small/regular size is. I'll not be returning any time soon

Chips where very poor ended up putting them in the bin fish was like tasteless mush and also went in the bin so I won't going there again I will be going back to Dillon's in throckley.
