I visited a few paintings since I moved, I will definitely come back. Vintage coffee shop for local people or visitors if gluten-free have a few options here, suppe is naturally gluten-free, carrot cake is gluten-free and have roasted gluten-free bread the best so far, always a friendly service

A lovely little coffee and tea shop . Kept very clean and tidy.Prices not too bad

Lovely friendly service. I had a jacket potato with cheese savoury which was delicious. I also Earl Grey tea, which isn't always available at other places. There was a good selection of different types of teas. Lovely cosy friendly atmosphere with lovely 40s decor and China tea service.

Melanie’s is a lovely cafe on Newbiggin High Street. There is a warm welcome and a feeling of happy family gathering. The coffee and tea are great and the food is delicious and well presented, pease pudding on toast for the vegans! Only in the north east! Melanie and her family have succeeded in creating a haven of good food, chat and craft for travellers near and far.

Polite and very friendly...lovely service, always happy to help... clean and cosy too. Dog friendly is an added bonus. Highly recommend
