We were only in for drinks and my wife declared her flat white to be fantastic while I was more than happy with my generous pot of tea. We didn’t have room for food, but the scones look to be rather good especially their famed cheese and bacon ones.
We have visited the queen's Hall often. Particularly after rhyme time at the library when they have welcomed children/families and the relative chaos they bring. Today we visited with a small child and a lady in particular was so exceptionally rude that we had to leave. She could clearly see that my child was struggling and created a made up rule that my child had to be seated while in the cafe. This lead to a complete break down and meant we had to leave the cafe with a half finished meal and not a sip of tip tea being drunk. I will NEVER return. The Rising Cafe welcome us with open arms and that is where will visit in future
First visit to Hexham, to meet friends who live in the town. Lots of lovely streets and this was a great choice to stop by for a coffee. Very nice ambiance and staff very friendly. Definitely recommend
Having visited a few cafes in Hexham we have settled on this one where the friendly staff serve excellent snacks and coffee. It’s always busy but service is quick enough. Dog friendly with a water bowl always available.
Took my family here today, the food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back. I particularly like the mini hash browns
