Excellent service and selection of drinks, real hidden gem that has a variety of seating areas the staff really look after you and the food is bang on every time.. worth a visit for all the above and more

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the delicious food. They have received awards and I find myself returning a few times each year. I recently treated my mother to a meal here during the week and she really enjoyed it. The steak pie is still one of the best I have ever had. They also have a great selection of ales on tap.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I brought my dog along with me. They have a fantastic dog park where you can sit and eat, but the seating inside is very limited. We decided to sit inside, but we found that the dog-friendly section was in the main walkway for people coming in and out, so I had to constantly move my dog out of the way. The food was decent. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak baguette and fries. The "cheese sauce" was a bit strange, and the peppers were cold, but the steak inside was tasty. I am willing to give this place another try to try other items on the menu since the staff were very friendly, but next time I might choose to sit elsewhere.

Beautiful meal plenty big enough portion we had gammon pineapple and egg with chips followed by an amazing sticky toffee pudding it was wonderful . The staff are really welcoming and attentive the bar and restaurant are lovely, clean and comfortable. Nice variety of meals on the menu with a child’s menu too. Great family pub with a little park fir the kids. We will be back.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon we visit regularly and we honestly can not fault it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They really go above and beyond. The food was incredible very fresh and fab value for money too! Will be back and always recommend!
