Great menu of food at reasonable prices. Beautifully presented and very tasty
Called in for coffee after a long, wet, muddy walk and received a warm welcome in spite of our bedraggled state. Good teas/ coffees served piping hot, the coffees in lovely big cups. Great spot overlooking the marina and very handy if you want to visit Anderton Boat Lift, or take any of the extensive walks around the country park and into Marbury or on to the Flashes. Lunch and Dinner menus looked very appetising.
What a wonderful find purely by chance! From the friendly lady on the phone booking a table to the charming gentleman taking our orders. The liver was so tasty, ham salad was one of the best we have ever had (variety of flavours and textures) and the cappuccino mousse was out of this world both to look at and eat. The views over the canal was delightful. We are looking forward to visiting again.
We arrived for a Sunday dinner without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The meal was delicious and generous, with a great variety of desserts. We decided to try a dessert, and it did not disappoint—it was delightful! The service was warm, courteous, and friendly. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience at a reasonable price.
