Vale Royal Abbey Arms - Northwich

We visited the Vale Royal Abbey Arms in the late evening without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from the staff. They quickly arranged a table for us, and we enjoyed some delicious drinks. I highly recommend this place for both dining and drinking. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, and the staff are wonderful. It's conveniently located near Delamere Forest, just a short walk away.

I went in here with no expectation. Expected rubbish frozen pub-grub and microwave meals. I am very happy to confirm this was far from the case. The Sunday roasts looked fantastic. I went for the steak pie and it was stunning, really good. If you are near Delamere Forest for a day out I highly recommend it

All the food we had at our table was really nice, hot and tasty except for the chunky chips, undercooked and hard. Staff were helpful and attentive but never once asked us was everything ok? As tasty as it was I can't see me going there again out of principal, because they charge for soda water which is usually free in the majority of establishments.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. They had lit the fireplace, which created a very cozy atmosphere. The place was elegantly decorated for Christmas. The food was absolutely delicious and offered great value for money. I would definitely recommend it and already have to friends and family. We can't wait to go back. Thank you very much!
