Affogato - Norwalk

Cute little spot! Great lattes and every employee we’ve encountered there has been very sweet and kind.

After dinner, we were looking for a good dessert place to just pick up something and Affogato was the perfect spot for us! Interior was clean and inviting with clear simple menu board and the girl serving us was very courteous and let us try couple flavors. We had vanilla and coffee gelato which was as good as any, and we enjoyed the late summer night breeze sitting out in front of the place. A great gelato place in the amazing town of Norfolk!

Took the kids here for ice cream after The Maritime Aquarium. Yummmm. And delish cold brew coffee for me.

Cute location, pet friendly, small but great service. I went in for a cold brew and was greeted by the Italian Masif, Gus who belonged to the customer in line before me. He was very well mannered but it is a pet friendly area so just beware off that is not your thing. I ordered a cold brew but was told that would not be available until Sunday, I was provided other options and chose to go with the ice chai. The weather was beautiful and I sat outside to enjoy. The other patrons are very friendly and I would definitely go back! The price is comparable to other coffee shops so no difference there. I do enjoy it better than Starbucks:

Lovely place. The coffee (and ice cream) are great. The staff is kind and personable. I met the owner when it first opened and felt immediately at home. The space is LGBTQ+ affirming and I want to continue to support that even though there are more coffee shops in the area and even another popping up nearby soon. They also of course have the delicious ice cream piece. Parking can be a struggle but that’s the case with everything on Washington street. You go because it’s worth it.
