Bagel King - Norwalk

The restaurant is under new ownership and has unfortunately lost its charm. Prices on everything have skyrocketed, and they are now charging a sales tax of 7.35% instead of the previous 6.35%. After a year, those extra costs really add up. It feels a bit shady to me.

Then another staff member chimed in and explained the price difference was due to "extra" egg and avocado. It felt like they were trying to overcharge me by $2 without any clear communication. It’s not just about the money; it’s frustrating that they didn’t acknowledge their mistake and instead offered excuses. When I aimed to express my concerns, the other lady simply ignored me. Their lack of professionalism was evident—no smiles or friendly interaction. Also, that was the only menu available; there were no additional details anywhere else. It shows a complete lack of understanding of customer service. I definitely won’t be returning to this place.

This place seems more focused on selling lottery tickets than on making bagels, which is quite frustrating. Food rating: 3/5.

I visited for the first time today, and the food was amazing! The onion bagel is my favorite.

Meh, last ditch resort. Not as advertised. Freshly squeezed o.j. is not fresh, but from concentrate with pulp. Avo toast it literally a couple of basic whole grain bread slices with slices of avocado mushed on top. I ordered with two easy-over eggs on top, got two boiled. When I asked to fix, they gave me scrambled and wanted to achieve me again. Told me it 's my fault I didn 't order correctly, even though I put clear instructions in the order. Tastes ok.
