While we generally love the fish fry, we’ve noticed that the fish portions have been getting smaller. On top of that, we received charred sweet potato fries that had a terrible smell.
The produce section had a strong odor of cigarettes, indicating that someone who works there must have been smoking in the back. A supervisor or manager—a petite, middle-aged woman with brown hair—had the audacity to tell me, "We don’t issue store cards anymore." I know that if it were anyone else, I would have received assistance, as I didn't have time to register at that moment and I've never had an issue shopping here since 2020. They charge $9 for a pint of strawberries, and while the produce is fresh, everything is ridiculously overpriced.
I purchased the rotisserie chicken soup today, and it was terrible. There was barely any chicken, and all the other ingredients, including the noodles, were completely mushy. I've enjoyed this soup many times from the Mansfield and Manchester Big Y, and it has always been outstanding. Additionally, the soup seemed like it might have been reheated in a microwave, as it was unreasonably hot.
Fresh ground peanut and Almond butters, freshly prepared ready to eat meals in containers, great grinders with freshly made bread. Very clean and stocked store with helpful friendly staff.
Occasionally has a good sale on something useful, but in general everything is more expensive than any other grocery store. Fish market is nice. Pizza used to be great but now you have to order 2-5 hours in advance just for a large cheese. They notoriouslymess up the pizza also, either toppings or forgetting to pull out of the oven. Then you're stuck another 20 minutes waiting fora new pizza.
