I don't have to worry about it because I only have a gluten sensitivity, but it was so great to see that they take food allergies seriously. When I ordered online (by Slice) I did not know what to expect, but my order came exactly as I requested. It was delivered about 20min earlier than estimated and the salad was super fresh and the pizza PERFECTLY cooked. PS the gluten-free crust is delicious THANK YOU ENGINE 6!!
We received a friendly greeting as soon as we walked in the door. The food was freshly prepared while we waited (we hadn't ordered ahead). I had a delicious chicken salad grinder and my friend got a slice of pizza. Mine was delicious but she ate hers later so I don't know how it was. There are numerous interesting fire department patches all over the walls. Parking was easy. I would recommend stopping at this converted firehouse for some takeout or dine in.
I just had pizza from Motor No. 6, and I tried the paprika and bacon pizzas along with the Hamburg pizza. They are some of the best I’ve ever had, reminding me of New York-style pizzas. I definitely plan to return in a few weeks to try something else. My grandson works there and recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. I'm really glad I did!
The food was excellent. My girlfriend, who is like a daughter to me, absolutely loved everything. I did make a mistake when I ordered—what I thought was a slipper was not what I expected. I wish the website had mentioned that there was no food available. As a result, I had to eat at a marina on the street, but fortunately, it was a beautiful day. The portion sizes were generous. Just a tip: be sure to ask for ketchup for the fries, as it’s not provided automatically.
This restaurant offers fantastic gluten-free options that are celiac-friendly. They serve gluten-free pizza, boneless wings, breadsticks, and much more! I was thrilled to discover this place while traveling to Mohegan Sun.
