Bourgee Norwich Steak Lobster Luxe Lounge

We made a reservation specifically for the lobster, but unfortunately, there was none available. The restaurant promotes itself as a steak and lobster establishment, yet part of the steak was also unavailable, and there was absolutely no lobster. While the staff were excellent, I was shocked by the limited choices considering the high prices for what was supposed to be a special dining experience.

Bourgeee Norwich offers a solid steakhouse experience. The food is consistently good, but the atmosphere can feel a bit overly formal at times. While it gives off the vibe of an upscale restaurant, the experience could be more relaxed—after all, it's about enjoying a great steak, quality sides, and good company. This visit was an improvement; however, the wait time between being seated and receiving the meal can be a bit lengthy. The staff is attentive and courteous. If you're prepared to pay premium steakhouse prices, you can expect a quality dining experience here.

Incredible service and delightful food! The pricing is great, especially if you go for the home menu, which offers two courses for just £17.50! I loved the open kitchen and how efficiently it operated— it reminded me of a bustling kitchen, though thankfully the chef was kind and not at all rude, haha! I got a kick out of how excited he was every time he called out, "Service, please!"

We arrived was sat at our table and drinks menu given . Ordered our drinks then ordered our food. 50 mins later was asked if placed food order and was told misplaced our order and given complimentary drinks for inconvenience and our wait. Another 20 mins went by and received our meals. Good food but small portions for my liking and price.

Shambles, no draught beer starters I ordered wasn’t available nor were 2 of the main dishes , side dishes didn’t turn up chips were not cooked properly and presentation was awful bill was wrong 3 times and the gents upstairs toilet was blocked apart from that enjoyed
