Really enjoyed it here. Perfect for date night particularly. Josh and the rest of the team were excellent. A real charmer. We even booked for Christmas!

Visited last night after looking around the Christmas market. Place was very busy. Received extremely friendly and attentive service from Ollie our waitor who showed us to a table and gave us menus. Food was amazing. My son had the ribs and I had the seafood risotto. Very enjoyable and a great ambience. Wine is pricey but it's not very often I eat out and this was a treat.

So yesterday was really busy in Nottingham with the Xmas market and we booked our meal expecting difficulty in finding a suitable restaurant. Service at Bella Italia was pretty good but when we told our waiter that our starters weren 't hot enough no action was taken other than 'we 'll look at that '. Also portion size of the calamari was very small and looked like it was the last bits in the packet, each piece was really small. The main course soon arrived and service seemed friendly and efficient, but once again the meal itself was not hot. My pollo cachiatore was cold by the time I finished it and I 'm not a slow eater. We left feeling disappointed and we 'll not be returning.

Josh was an amazing host! Made us feel so welcome and really looked after our table! GIVE HIM A PROMOTION!
