Brewdog - Nottingham

This restaurant only accepts card payments. Even though I can use my card to pay, I wanted to purchase my half pint with cash tonight. I have a strong preference for places that accept cash, so I will now be avoiding the BrewDog in Nottingham.

A few months ago, I visited this restaurant with friends and had a great time trying out the beers and enjoying delicious pizzas. The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, during my recent visit with different friends, the experience was completely different. The server, a young girl, seemed unhappy and was quite rude when we asked about the beer options. She also made a mistake with our bill, charging us for something that should have been covered by a voucher. When I pointed out the error, she initially insisted that the bill was correct. After checking with a colleague, she corrected the mistake but did not apologize or show any gratitude for our patience. As someone who trains in customer service, I was disappointed by this lack of professionalism. It was a stark contrast to my previous positive experience at the restaurant.

We made a reservation for the evening and were escorted to our table where we received excellent service throughout the entire evening. We enjoyed a delicious pizza from the main menu, which was of high quality.

Absolute joke bloke behind the bar very rude and unhelpful. And to top it off refuse to accept cash.

Had a wonderful afternoon with Jack leading the Beer School. Learned a lot about beer and some history too. Pairing beers with cheese is mind blowing!!!
