Gourmet Coffee Kitchen - Nottingham

On a gloomy morning in Nottingham, my trip back to Burnley was brightened by the excellent coffee and conversation from the friendly waiter known as "the tall chap" (apologies for not catching your name, the Everton fan from Manchester living in Notts). I will definitely come back to this restaurant if I am in the area again.

I had some time to spare and was craving something more filling, so I decided to have a coffee and a sausage baguette. The coffee was okay, but the sausage baguette was delicious and hot. For a meal deal price of £5.95, I thought it was fair. The only downside was the mediocre coffee. If the coffee had been better, I would have given them a higher rating. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and polite.

My twin brother and I, Stephen, visited Gourmet Coffee Bar Kitchen while waiting for our train back to Liverpool after a delightful five-night stay in Nottingham. The bar had a nice, tidy appearance and the staff were exceptional. I ordered a flat white coffee and my brother opted for a diet cola. The service was prompt and the coffee was superb - piping hot and made with high-quality ingredients. It was clear that the café takes pride in their coffee. We enjoyed our time at Gourmet Coffee Bar Kitchen before catching our train, and I particularly liked the easy-to-find location along Carrington Street at Nottingham Railway Station.

Bought a couple of teas and the guy serving was quite rude, no people skills whatsoever. Me and my girlfriend sat down to drink our teas, as soon as we sat down the same guy that was quite rude serving me started shouting we 're closed you guys have to leave I was like, mate just bought a couple of drinks and you didn 't mentioned anything about not being able to drink then in here, in which he replied we 're closed you have 5 minutes to leave disgraceful attitude from someone that works a customer service job. If i happen to be in that station again I will definitely not use that cafe.

A single expresso charged at the price of a double with cream with No option in the menu for single as it is everywhere else. I will never use this place again nor I will recommend it.
