My party and I stumbled upon this establishment for a satisfying meal and were pleased with the delicious soup noodles we ordered. The service was excellent and we never felt rushed, even during a busy weekend evening. I am eager to return for a taste of their Korean barbecue, Japanese sushi, and Malaysian dishes. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service despite some negative reviews I had heard. I can't wait for my next visit.
I visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The modern and clean atmosphere of the place was delightful. The menu had a wide selection of dishes, including some unique drinks from Japan that we had never tried before. The variety of food options made it a great representation of Japanese cuisine, offering everything from sushi to bento boxes to noodles. Even those who are not fans of sushi will find plenty of options to enjoy. I definitely plan on returning and bringing my family along next time.
Visited with my partner and our friends. We had starters, mains and desserts and enjoyed everything we had. Especially enjoyed the sushi platter we had to start as that was presented in a really interesting way and was really yummy! I struggled a little with...my main because it was huge but the taste was worth it. Didn't picture them but also enjoyed the ice cream for dessert!
Proceed with caution!!!!We decided to have a meal here as it looked very busy from outside, the menu looked very inviting. How wrong could we be! We ordered crispy squid and satay chicken, thesquid was great, very tasty, however the chicken was brought out after...and was hard, overcooked and pretty tasteless. We then received the main which was chicken thai green curry and beef rendang....these were both inedible. The chicken in the thai green curry was brown, grisly and had a strange taste. This deterred us from eating at all. My partner was not happy alt all with the rendang, as the beef was either grisly and chewy, or so overcooked that it disintegrated when eating, which led us to believe that there were two different types of.meat in the same dish. We had to sadly inform the waiter as we were not prepared to eat these main courses, he apologised and did not charge us for the main, but we left very hungry, and disappointed! The worst thai green curry I have ever had.
We've been to Pan Asia periodically for the past years or thereabouts. We regularly bring friends and family here when we want to give them a good Asian meal. Our last visit was August The food is genuinely South-East Asian; I've not...been to Korea so cannot comment on the authenticity of that part of the menu other than to say that it is delicious! The Malaysian and Thai dishes are authentic the chef is very happy to increase the spice level if required. My wife is Malaysian and when she is homesick this is where she comes for a taste of home! The sushi is fresh and the best I've found in Nottingham so far and I am fussy about this! Sometimes there can be a wait for it, but that is because it is being made up fresh. For a large order of sushi it is advised to order ahead when you book the table. The Dragon Roll is fun and tasty! The staff are always attentive and helpful, but never pushy. They will check if the used dishes are finished with and remove them once you are happy.
