Simply the best food without a doubt in this area all food is locally sourced and delicious.The staff are friendly and polite they are always eager to help. If you haven't tryed this place I would highly recommend a visit you wouldn't be disappointed.

Excellent food, great portions and great value for money. Went on a Tuesday night, which turned out to be steak soul night so we had a great soundtrack to our meal Staff were incredibly polite and friendly- wish we'd discovered this place sooner and will be coming back again.

Excellent experience from arrival to departure. Tobias,our server was great, very attentive, and made experienced suggestions for our meals. Lovely atmosphere in the Inn side, didn't go to the pub section . Very nicely maintained interior in a great old building. We had mains and puddings, all fantastic quality well prepared, we loved the veggies on the side to share. I had the Manhattan stack for pudding and it was amazing; beautifully rich and not too sweet. Definitely recommend, will be back

Super went today on birthday meal lovely place Was given a nice table ,waiter really helpful looked after us really well all staff friendly and helpful Good lovely food very very nice Lots of room in car park Def go again 9/10 only 1 tiny grumble plates were cold ,Hot food should be on hot plate but that said we will def use again

We decided to go here due to the reviews and that it is dog friendly. The dog friendly is only in the garden at the rear and not the restaurant inside. Firstly the website does not do this place justice, the wire looks a like tired and doesn't show off the fantastic menu. The pub is lovely, clean and very welcoming. So too are the staff, they were all very pleasant even though it was very busy. Service was swift and our waiter knew the extensive menu off by heart including the wide range of daily specials. Meals were plentiful and reasonably priced. Drink selection is also good, including non alcoholic options for drivers. Will happily go back. Thank you for a lovely lunch
