Feedback gevenÉtablissement que je recommande vivement à plusieurs titres: les personnels sont extrêmement sympathiques, les plats proposés savoureux, servis rapidement et accompagnés d'un cidre local de qualité! Restaurant idéal tant le midi pour une pause déjeuner rapide qu'en soirée pour un dîner en amoureux.
Pour déjeuner le midi en semaine, une adresse prisée par les locaux : c'est à la fois bon, rapide, copieux, pas cher...souvent plein!
Petite brasserie la semaine, essentiellement pour les ouvriers et routiers. Propose des soirées à thème certains week-end. Ce soir, soirée Landaise: entrée+plat+fromage+dessert= 17€ ! Très bon rapport qualité/prix.A découvrir !
I didn't think places like this existed any more, but I was pleased to find this one does It's cuisine traditionnelle for this part of Normandy.
I saw this place on Trip Advisor and decided to try it for lunch as it appeared very popular with the locals. The menu was very good value at 12.50 euros for 4 courses plus wine or cider and coffee. We were not disappointed. There was a choice of 4 starters, all very traditional, along with plenty of fresh French bread. There was a choice of 2 mains and we all went for Turkey which was delicious. Next was a platter of local cheeses which was left on the table for you to help yourself, and the bread was replenished. There were 4 desserts to choose from Nd we all went for iles flottantes, meringue floating on creme tantalize. Again, it was delicious. On the table from the start was a litre of red wine, a litre of cider and unlimited ice cold carafes of water for you to have as much as you wanted. Afterwards coffee was served. A wonderful traditional French meal which was excellent quality served by a friendly lady who appeared to be the owner. Her husband was the chef. Couldn't fault it. We returned a few days later and some of the menu choices had changed but it was just as good. The onion tart starter was to die for, and I loved the 'riz au lait', a cold rice pudding with a caramel sauce. This place is basically a bar with a restaurant in the back and is very popular with locals and workers. I'm not sure how they do it for the money but they do it very well and I'd highly recommend it.
