Gene Garden - Nova Goa

We visited Gene garden restaurant recently when we were passing by

Good place for lunch on way to Old Goa. Seems to attract locals and despite the riverside location would suggest it's probably better to stick with chicken. Ate here twice during our stay, the staff are friendly and the food freshly cooked. Chicken Tikka good Chicken noodles good Generous portions and a brilliant river view.

Ordered pomfret, we did not like the tomato sauce they put, spoiled the entire taste. Veg was pretty nice. Had superb dal fry but slightly less cooked rice. Location is good, next to backwaters.

Beautiful place by the Riverside. Good small menu. Excellent food quality and taste. Quick and efficient service. Cheese Garlic Naan is all time favorite. Reasonably priced.

The ambiance of the place is good but the waiter was disaster and full of attitude ! One of the worst service encountered! Food is good. But forget d and ambiance is not worth the terrible service. With the
