I visited this restaurant on 17/01/2022 and had a very disappointing experience. The service was poor and the prices were much higher compared to a 5-star restaurant. They charged Rs.200 for a small plate of kismure, which is usually free in other restaurants. When we asked for the bill, the waiter rudely insisted that we pay him directly instead of at the counter. Despite this, we paid at the counter. When we inquired about using G-Pay, the owner abruptly informed us that they only accept cash. It was a terrible experience and I will not be returning to this place.
This restaurant is a hidden gem on the road to Old Goa, located on the banks of the Mandovi river away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. It is a must-visit for fans of authentic Goan cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed the Surmai Fish thali, Rawa fried Prawns, and veg thali while seated outdoors under the coconut trees, feeling the cool breeze from the Mandovi river.
Landed here at this hidden gem for some awesome seafood, try their prawns and kingfish . the rates are bit steep for fish though
The food was spectacular. The rawa fried prawns and mussels were among the best I’ve ever had . The fish thali was decent We had a table outside on the river bank . My one issue was that some emptily plastic bottles had been thrown on the edge of the clearing and there were a lot of flies . Sitting inside would have been a better option . The food however is good enough for you to make a trip to this place . It’s not signposted and hard to find so use google maps and then ask locally .
