The milkshakes and pies are very good and a big hit. The atmosphere is playful and the staff are very friendly and professional. All of the food was outstanding. We will be back!
We had breakfast there today. First visit ever. Last visit ever.I 'll review in bullet points: eggs were fried to the point where they were brown to burnt ... who hires a breakfast chef that has no clue how to cook eggs? house potatoes were just... potatoes, with zero spices/flavor, as if they had boiled them, cut them up and dropped them on the plate sourdough toast was plain white bread (no jam/jelly/preserves offered) pancakes were tiny (compared to most diners), bland and I had to cut them with my knife (which should tell you about the rubber like texture) service was forgettable... as in, they forgot everything forgot to refill coffee, forgot to give us utensils, forgot we existedI don 't want to hate on this place, but when I read the reviews that seem to be glowing, as if this is anything close to Marvin 's or even Toast, I had to write this review. We were able to finish our breakfast (like you 'd eat old stale cornflakes when there was no milk available and it was raining), and did not get ill, so that 's a plus.Star restaurant has EXACTLY the right name. Star. As in one star.
The new Star Restaurant is an interesting mix of new and some of the old favorites. The restaurant has been updated and lots of staff to make sure all is going well. They are still getting up to speed, but we got our food fast and it was great. Lots of attention to detail. We went with the new offerings and glad I did. We will be back. Posted some photos of the dinner menus. Think they have different menus for different times of the day. Give them a try, you will love the food.I hope they might dim some of the lights. Was really bright in the back room. Wheelchair accessibility: New sidewalks and push button front door. 2 reserved parking spots with ramp.
Good service. Good food. Good atmosphere. Definitely will be returning!
Very nice place and nicely decorated. You can tell they spent a lot of time creating this space. We went for breakfast on a Monday and were sat quickly and were started off with a very delicious cup of coffee. The servers are mostly Spanish speaking, so try your best with ordering, if not a good point will do the duty. Two of us had breakfast burritos and they were to die for! Absolutely delicious! Would order again 10/10. My spouse had the waffle and loved it as well. I would love to come back to try their handmade tortillas because I would bet they are also amazing! The place just opened so give it time to find its footing but for opening week I see it going well for them! Thanks for an excellent breakfast!
