Kaiserburg - Nürnberg

The 'Kaiserburg ' is one of the top touristic attractions of Nuremberg. From the top of the hill were the Kaiserburg is situated, you can enjoy a nice view of the entire city! Based on your available time, there are many things to be seen, i.e The Chapel and Palas, the museum and the deep well, etc. one can easily spend 1/2 day there! Don 't miss it!

Beautiful seething with a historic ambience. They offer a variety of Bavarian foods, beers and desserts! For a light lunch, happy hour or dinner, good food and beer await!

After a long walk on a December morning we popped in here for a quick beer and a little rest. The Czech beer was obviously excellent and seeing the sizeable portions of food being sent to the other guests we also decided to indulge in some Bohemian food. Goulash and fried cauliflower were excellent, the rustic dumplings were filling (to put it mildly). The bar was fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon but plenty of seats remained available. The gentleman serving was amiable and efficient. We were intending to return but I think its only open in the evening apart from at the weekend. We enjoyed the low-key ambience but it was probably less of a 'tourist ' experience than some other places in the Altstadt.

Absolutely the best Bohemian/Czech food in this city! Also love the atmosphere, rustic, cute bar and cosy area to eat at the front and a huge cellar for bigger groups and brauhaus atmosphere. Wonderful menu, very large portions but you can order a half one if you like, and last but not least, the best beers in the world, Czech Budweiser and Pilsner on tap!! Heavenly!!!
