Schindlerhof - Nürnberg

The ambiente is ideal for a romantic dinner. eating is also great, especially for the winter months, as it can be quite heavy. the service can be a bit.

It was my first visit and I was not disappointed. had reserved for a 3-course candle light dinner and was absolutely satisfied. the service was very nice, attentive and fast. each menu and the accompanying wee was explained to us. eating was incredibly delicious. the evening here was worth every cent. I'll be happy next time. thanks for the beautiful evening!

Food ok, not extensive menu, expensive bottle of water. Worst time I've ever had with flies trying to eat my food, horrible! I had to use one hand full time only to try to keep the flies away. Ate as fast as I could and left!

On a lukewarm summer evening (Wednesday) we were five in the schindlerhof. because of the temperatures we were able to sit in the yard, which was completely filled in the course of the evening. at the piano was played pleasant background music. we had a really attentive and reasonably communicative waiter. as usual in an upscale restaurant, there are no seemingly endless lists to align. so the ordered pre- (carpaccio, thunfischtatar) and main dishes (zanderfilet, filetsteak) were all very delicious. also the tried desserts (tiramisu, sorbet trilogy, vanilla porfait with fresh celestial apples) were top. a good wine rounded off the culinary experience. the schindlerhof is certainly not a “cheap” restaurant in any relation, but you get something for your money on all occasions. happy again!

Tic not well placed and rather uncomfortable, outside as indoors.Restaurant seems to be set to larger groups that entertain themselves loudly. in particular, inside gigantic and chairs protruding into door entrances / walking areas. who plans to eat a cozy dinner too two, is more likely to be advised.Service very inattentive, drinks ordering you have to push up already massively - bad for the turnover and feel comfortable of the guests. noticeable: it is not attempted to use more than 1 table at the same time, after each table will be immediately back to the back / kitchen reclaimed. this is neither efficient nor customer-friendly.Travels expensive and qualitatiw at best moderate. fish wasn't crusty, but cooked. that will get other local cheaper, better and with appropriate portion sizes. Conclusion: no reason to come back
