Tapasitos - Nürnberg

We were seated quickly and server was friendly but left us for 20mins before order was eventually taken. There were a number of servers but most of the time they stand up at the till chatting and hanging out. Food is very salty. Note that the Paellas are huge portions (we could only eat half of it). We had the vegetable one which was very salty Asked for a second Diet Coke which took 10mins to arrive (no other drinks were delivered to any tables or prepared in this time) In short, service should be quicker with less hanging about and put less salt in the food.

Location is nice, especially sitting outside. Staff is great, friendly, helpful, funny when needed, good advise. Food to be honest is rather bland, saltless and also not very much spices or, remember they sell tapa’s, garlic. All in all we had a great time on a nice terrace with nice people.

I saw their advertisement on the Nuremberg map. Drinks were half price during hapyhours. Although it was a bit far from our hotel, we walked. Two tables were empty but dirty. We waited aside for the waiters to clean up, but that didn't happen. So we sat at a dirty table and waited for the waiters to come. After a long time a waitress came to clean our table. We asked the female waiter which drinks would be discounted. He replied to us that those other than cocktails are discounted. My wife drank 2 beers of 33 cl and I drank two beers of 50 cl. We paid 17 Euros while waiting for a discounted account. While we were going to pay 4 euros for a 50cl beer and 16 euros in total at the bar in the main square next to our hotel, we were tired, kept waiting and overpaid. Definitely a place I will never go to again.

Today we were advised by a nice and extremely polite service called Sandy (a Croatian Italian service at the Spaniard; to a very tasty Paela. Very recommended, but huge portion! We should have saved the tapas in advance, but they were also premium! Thank you!!!! Marc Martin
