Robokyo Japanese Steakhouse And Sushi

My date and I were excited to eat the hibachi and looked forward to going. To say the least, the food was a little bit disappointing. I have eaten at my hibachi restaurants and always get the yum yum sauce and put it on my rice. The yum yum sauce here has A LOT of pepper in it. Due to having yum yum sauce many other times, I didn’t think that I needed to try it before putting it on my food, but clearly should’ve. With the amount of pepper already on the rice and in the sauce, it was an intolerable amount of pepper and I couldn’t eat any more of it. Rice is always my favorite part at any hibachi so it was an bummer. Additionally, my scallops that I ordered were not cooked all the way. It was really disappointing after looking forward to coming here and not getting what is expected, especially for the price that was paid. The service and the chef were really nice and friendly. That part of the experience was good, but again the food was not.

Hibachi was delicious! The chef was very personable and friendly. This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was amazing. We will definitely be back! Huge portions!

Nathan was AWESOME! I have a gluten allergy and he cooked my food with caution and care. I tend to shy away from hibachi because of fear with contamination. Many thanks and I hope you’re the chef next time!

Ava and Luke make the best drinks..... extremely friend, outstanding service, and food is phenominal. Sit at the bar __ Luke and Ava will be aure youre yaken care of. Did I mention drinks are ... OMG! Nice place, great staff, we will be back!

Sat at the bar. Sushi was very good and price was average for the area. Poké Tuna bowl looks small but very filling .
