Very nice place, good service and good quality of food served. My advice is to broaden the range of dishes on the menu a little by adding a couple of quick first courses (even like spaghetti with fresh tomatoes .. good value for money. Advised...!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Let's say that inflation has gone to his head because 6 euros for a fairly watered down and standing spritz without table service, without any accompanying chips or hazelnuts, is quite out of the market, the same watered down spritz in the historic center costs 1 euro , let's say that something in between would be correct... the place is still magnificent, but I think that next time I'll bring the aperitif from home.

Been driving past here for real years now finally stopped: what have I been missing?! Departed work early and convinced my wife to stop for a spritz. The young lady working at Chalet Averno was excellent! After ordering, she insisted we take a seat and she’d bring them to our table. In minutes, she produced two spritzes, along with accompanying apertivi of salami, mortadella, olive and cheese with some salty packaged chips not much but a perfect snack to accompany our drinks as we enjoyed the view over Lago d’Averno. The atmosphere was nice, tables were simple but clean, fresh air and they even have a small restroom. We felt welcomed and that our business was appreciated All for €14! A veritable bargain! Can of coke and a goalscorer candy €2.50. We were seated and they made us get up because we hadn't used table service.
