Tasted like it had been overcooked in advance and then reheated. Penne arrabiata was better, but the garlic and chillies in it were a bit raw. Ordered a small beer but the waiter brought a large one. I pointed it out, he said he would only charge for a small one, but then after paying the bill I realised I had been charged for the large one (only receive an itemised bill as a receipt, not before payment). Was a nice atmosphere, but if good food and service are what you're looking for, we can't recommend it.
This is a fun and relaxed place to go to enjoy a pizza or a traditional Italian dish. There is sidewalk seating under big umbrellas along a fairly quiet street at night. It is encouraging to be served in an Italian restaurant run by Italians.
Our hotel booked dinner for us at this lovely restaurant and they must like it because they also booked their staff Christmas party there for the same night. We had a lovely dinner and we especially enjoyed our server who helped us end the night in style by recommending his favorite grappa. As a bonus, the World Cup was on that night and the restaurant had big screen TVs everywhere so that we and the other guests could watch the final match while enjoying a nice meal.
The visit to this restaurant was the highlight of our holiday. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The food is to die for, so fresh and nicely presented. A typical Italian family run place open for both lunch and dinner. We have eaten here quite a few times and highly recommend it.
Wine too warm, main dish coming when the starter is not yet finished, and when you want to make a point about it, they behave as this was our problem.
