Passio -keittioe Ja Baari - Nurmijaervi

We were recommended Passio by our hotel concierge. We have found that concierge recommendations can be hit or miss, but in this case it was definitely a hit! When we first arrived, we were seated at a table, but then the owner came over and said he had a better table for us.

We had a lovely evening at Passio. The food was delicious, as we enjoyed the 5-course tasting menu paired with wine. Each dish was incredibly tasty, with one in particular standing out: rice pudding topped with grated reindeer heart. It may sound unusual, but it was surprisingly good.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service is impeccable. The waitress described the food and wine menu with great passion, and the wine pairing was excellent.

The atmosphere and the ambiente of this restaurant was warm and welcoming as the stff. our tasting menu was delicious and together with the pairing wines very good value for money.

I visited Passio for the first time with my business colleagues. We had 7 course menu, and it was excellent. Well prepared, tasting and good quality portions. I especially liked that the menu was “secret” until it was served 
