We visited Nusco because my grand-grandparents are from there. I didn't know what we were going to plan for food, but it ended up being a cold and dreary day. After having some trouble navigating roads we just parked and decided to walk down some steps and ran into Le Fontanelle. Very unassuming cafe that I figured would be decent, but I was blown away. We had pizza in Rome, Sicily, and Naples, and this was by far our favorite. The flavors were amazing, I couldn't believe it. They were thicker square slices and the sauce, cheese, and bread all tasted perfect. I will drive out of my way any time I am in the area to get the pizza here, I wish I could express in Italian better to the staff how good the pizza was, but despite the language barrier he was extremely friendly.
